Relatively New Reputation Monitoring Tools

Posted on 13 August 2007 by Daniel Dessinger

As we continue on a breakneck pace of new web 2.0 enterprises worldwide, expect to see some new options in the reputation monitoring space. A couple search engines worth noting are relatively new:

Serph.com
Serph specifically searches social media outlets online, including blogs, networking sites, forums, etc., to find the most recent buzz on any given topic or name. Results are similar to a Google Blog search if you order the list by most recently posted results.

Spock.com
Spock is a new search engine focused entirely on people. You are able to sign up as a user and submit relevant website page URLs and connect them to a specific name. For example, I have attached several of my blogs/websites to my name in order to accurately represent who I am, should anyone search for me via Spock.com. This could get interesting as multiple people with identical names battle over primacy for the name.

Either one of these search tools will help you to understand what is known about a given product, company, or person.

A few people can choose to buy to let mortgages to shift the financing liability to the new owners while saving big bucks at the same time. Professionally trained mortgage brokers are there to inform the prospective buyers of the best 1st mortgage rates that are always a bit lower than that of the second mortgage. The professional help is a must to seek before going for an interest rate mortgage whereby a borrower is willing to get the most favorable rate for him/her self.
