In Search of a Better WordPress Theme

by Daniel Dessinger on June 20, 2007

I’ve spent my fair share of time scouring the Web in search of the perfect WP theme. The truth is, I’m no designer, and I’d rather use a theme I can make minor adjustments to for just the right look. As the number of blogs I’m involved with continue to expand out of control (currently 7), your feedback is needed.

Point me in the direction of themes you think would fit the Reputation Advisor content. Heck, we might even award a prize to the person who helps me find the perfect look.

What do you think?

Hey, I have also spent a lot of time looking at WordPress themes. One of my favorites is a theme titled Magazine News developed by Brad Mahaffey at ArtCulture. Its not free but it has some great features.

I would also love to know the name of your current theme and who developed it. It has some nice features and i like the simplicity.
  • Maybe I'm a little biased, since I did create the theme... Blix1000 is a re-vamp of the popular Blix theme. I have kept the same basic look and feel, but expanded the page to better fit ads in the sidebar. I have also created a plugin called MultiBlix that lets you change color and the header image on the theme using a control panel.

Please take a look. If you decide not to use the theme, tell me why so I can improve it!

    Zack
